Dupe to darkness by love
Consciousness and will, surrendered too
Afflicted by ill truth

created by none
bars placed
of fear and pain

pastures of freedom
and love, gaze
yet clamped,
in a prisoners cage

lips quiver, to taste
the portion, Love
heavenly state
and Eternal place

Lead,
by the fingers of slain
to the glory
of sorrow and rage

prisoned in a cage
created by none
to read the scriptures
of the saint

Failed to experience,
borrowed, their words,
to utter,
one’s disappointment
and shame

soul ,that never loved
had no courage
is stale water
fragmented in distaste

Love Hope and Charity............

LOVE
Yes, I have loved
few countable
moments of my life
String into
the single digit of one


HOPE
Echo’s of failures
torment my mind

Success of failures
trample my heart

Still, I held my head high
as shame left my side


CHARITY
Invisible balm on the broken wings
birds soaring high
thanking Almighty
